One Seed of Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping vulnerable families in El Salvador meet their most basic need — food. We work with local communities to provide staple food assistance to households facing hunger, with a focus on children, elderly individuals, and families living in extreme poverty.

 Our Primary Focus: Food Assistance

Our main program is centered on improving food security for families in El Salvador who struggle to access consistent and nutritious meals. Through community partnerships and local outreach, we distribute staple food packages to families experiencing chronic hunger. Our goal is to ensure that families have reliable access to food that supports health, dignity, and stability.

When resources allow, One Seed of Hope also supports basic living conditions that directly impact health and well-being, such as limited home improvements or access to clean water.

These efforts are secondary to our food programs and are implemented as support services when funding permits.

 Our Impact So Far

With the help of our supporters and volunteers, One Seed of Hope has accomplished the following:

  • Provided food and essential assistance to over 2,000 individuals in El Salvador

  • Built a community of 50+ volunteers and members in California

  • Raised over $10,000 to support hunger relief and community assistance efforts
